Like many pieces in my artwork about my miscarriage, this painting reflects an internal bodily experience of loss. This piece remains beyond spoken language for me. I was never able to title it. Seeing how images of my pregnancy loss flooded my artwork inspired me to seek out other women artists. I wanted to know if others were using art to express their pain, confusion, anger and isolation following their own losses.
