In 1990, I lost another baby and went to my studio explicitly to express my grief. I did a whole series of sketches using ink, black, white and gold paint on brown paper trying to work through the pain. My hope is that others who have lost babies will feel some comfort seeing images that capture the reality and the pain of the experience.
